Privacy Controls was created by Paretologic, a company that  has developed a number of software programs, including the best- selling registry repair program RegCure.  

Our tests found that Privacy Controls did an outstanding job of getting rid of all unwanted files.  The only program that did a better job was Evidence Eliminator.  So why do we recommend Privacy Controls over Evidence Eliminator?  One simple word: cost.  The lowest price you can find Evidence Eliminator for is $74.95 here.  That's almost twice as much as Privacy Controls (which costs $39.95, and is sometimes $29.95 if they're running a discount).  Is it worth it?  We'll let you decide, but in our opinion, it is not.
