Evidence Eliminator was created by a company called Robin Hood Software.  

Our tests found that Evidence Eliminator is the very best privacy software program out there.  It has more features and gets rid of more files than any other program.  It is also the most expensive program, by a wide margin. 

We found that Evidence Eliminator is not quite as easy to set up as some other products, but it more than makes up for any shortcomings in this area with all of the features that it comes with.  In fact, Evidence Eliminator's scan is so complete, that you might accidentally get rid of files you want to keep.  So make sure you read the entire document that comes with the software.  

One nice feature is an application that will let you know if large blocks of files are being deleted.  This keeps you from deleting your ENTIRE hard drive on accident!  Evidence Eliminator is the only product that claims to contain magnetic resonance.  This eludes detection of files from an electron microscope, which some law enforcement agencies use to conduct investigations.

Are there any drawbacks?  Well, as we mentioned earlier, Evidence Eliminator is not cheap.  The lowest price we found was $74.95 here, but it's also $99.95 and even $134.95 in other places.  On the other hand, Privacy Controls is $39.95, but has comparable features.  Now, we are not going to lie to you: Privacy Controls is NOT as good of a product as Evidence Eliminator, but we realize that cost is a huge concern for many people.

If you don't mind spending a few extra bucks, Evidence Eliminator is definitely the best product of its kind
